• INEOS Automotive is signing agreements with retail partners around the world
• Targeting 200 sales and service points for the launch of the Grenadier 4X4 in July 2022
• A strong physical presence will be matched by powerful digital services to give customers the buying experience they want and the aftersales support they need
• INEOS is selecting retail partners that share its service-first attitude and commitment to customer needs and preferences
Aftersales blueprint
• INEOS has worked with Bosch over the last three years to develop a first-class global aftersales blueprint
• Servicing will be provided by retail partners and by hand-picked Bosch Car Service sites
• Owners needing support in locations further afield will have access to 10,000 Bosch Car Service outlets in 150 countries
• Enthusiasts, modifiers and those who wish to work on their own vehicles will benefit from specialist technical support from INEOS HQ, and will have access to online interactive 3D workshop manuals and parts catalogues
• Where parts are not immediately available, INEOS is targeting 24-hour delivery into major markets
Retail strategy
• INEOS will make the buying process as convenient and painless as possible
• The whole buying process – or any part of it – can be done online or face-to-face
• Negotiation removed from the buying process with transparent pricing
• Simplified part-exchange and financing arrangements
• Customers will be able to take the Grenadier for on- and off-road test drives to help them get a feel for the vehicle on their local tracks, trails or dunes
Australia and New Zealand
• INEOS will launch in Australia with around 16 retail outlets
• Agreements have been signed with:
o Purnell in Sydney, NSW
o Brighton Automotive Holdings in Melbourne, VIC
o SLRV Expedition in Gold Coast, QLD
o Aaron Brain Motors in Shepparton, VIC
o Buckby Motors in Launceston, TAS
o John Oxley Motors in Port Macquarie, NSW
o Rex Gorell in Geelong, VIC
o Caravana in Brisbane, QLD
o Frasers in Newcastle, NSW
• For New Zealand, one partner, Armstrong’s, will operate locations in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin
• Hand-picked Bosch Car Service workshops will provide additional service coverage
• Agreements also signed with first retail partners in the UK, South Africa, and the Middle East; partners in major European markets will be signed up soon
Reservations
• Online reservations for the Grenadier open from 30 September for early ‘hand-raisers’ – prospective customers who expressed a strong interest in being among the first to buy a Grenadier – and from 14 October for all other interested buyers
• Sales of the Grenadier will begin in July 2022
• Prices in Australia are expected to start from around AU$ 84,500 (RRP)
• Prices in New Zealand are expected to start from around NZ$ 93,500 (RRP)
