Jimny XL NANO-D 2026
2026 started with a bang as we look forward to some epic builds for 4xOverland, including a new HiAce4x4 built with all I’ve learned in the past two years with the EGON HiAce. And because we have such big plans for that, I need a daily driver which must also be able to take me fishing and weekend camping too. And I’ve selected the Suzuki Jimny XL as the platform. And I’ll build an Aussie version of DAMD’s Jimny Little-Defender.
The Story
I buy a brand new Jimny XL from a local dealer. Using mostly Australian family businesses, I create the NANO-D
Modelled after the Japanese concept called, Little Defender.
I'm building a daily driver and a weekend off-roader.
