Reveling in the discomfort of utter isolation, visits by lions and breakdowns, a solo traveler quenches an unquenchable thirst for the sometimes hostile but beguiling Kalahari Desert. This is an explorer’s unforgettable 10-year infatuation with a disappearing wilderness.

This documentary spans 10 years and was shot in 2008, 2009, 2013, 2014 and 2018.

History: This is a compilation of stories taken from four TV series and two YouTube series. Earlier parts of the story have appeared in TV shows broadcast in South Africa, Russia and Belgium and newer sections on social media including YouTube. This is all new edit and makes a compelling and inspiring story.
